Region 10 Youth Director

Molly Schwister

Hello there, My name is Molly Schwister.I am mollyscurrently serving AHYA as the Youth Secretary and the Region 10 Director. I just graduated from¬†Lodi High School and I am excited to attend the Universityof Wisconsin- River Falls to study Agriculture Business. I live in the small town of Lodi, Wisconsin. I live on our families boarding, training, and breeding farm, BoMar Arabians. I was born into the Arabian breed having family members as trainers. I started riding as soon as I could walk and started showing when I was six years old. I’ve shown Western, Hunt, Country-English, Halter, Trail, Western Horsemanship, Saddleseat and Huntseat Equitiation. Currently, I have been showing my Half-Arabian western horse, TR Big Man On Campus, my aunts Half-Arabian Country-English horse, Sister Sledge, and my purebred Country-English horse, BFA Muskat. Since I live on our farm I spend most of my life in the barn riding horses or taking care of them. I have been giving riding lessons to the youth riders on our farm and helping them enjoy Arabian horses as much as I do!

Besides being the AHYA Secretary Region 10 Youth Director, I am also serving my third and final term as Wisconsin Arabian Horse Association Youth President. As WAHA Youth President I have organized many different meetings, fundraisers, clinics and activities our youth does. I have been on the WAHA Youth judging teams for the past four years and have competed at US Nationals for the Youth Judging Contest.

Outside of my horse life I am very active in FFA, I have been the chapter Reporter, Junior Advisor, and Vice President. Our chapter received third place in the state this past year. I love planning and participating in all the activities our chapter does and being involved in Agriculture. This past year I was the state runner up in the Equine Proficiency, which is a huge accomplishment for me! Although I am not able to be an officer for our chapter because I graduated I still plan on being very active in our FFA Chapter this upcoming year.

I am excited to be serving AHYA and Region 10, if you have any questions please contact me!
